Ok, I tried reading up on this on the net, and didn't find any real good explanation, but if I understand correctly, each reduction is makes the total reduction about 7 to 1 and 4 to 1 making a total of 11 to 1? (75 to 11 and 73 to 18?)
If that is correct, then I will not need half as much reduction as I thought! especially since I will only be using 5s (18.75V) and a 130 Kv Turnigy motor (80 - 100) I might up the voltage to 6S if there is much advantage, but for my use, a smaller battery requiring less voltage will be ideal.
