New Swiss ebike

Leave it to the Swiss to come up with such a clean-looking ride. So, who's going to be the first on the board to find one and test-ride it?

Yeah, it's really good looking! 36v 10ah battery stored IN the frametube, assists up to 50kmh, disc brakes, only weighs 20kg, and costs 4100CHF ,ca 3700USD!
There was an exhibition a few weeks ago near the place I live, but I wasn't able to go...

A while ago I purchased an older swiss e-bike as defective (very cheap), I'll try to repair it once I'll have enough time. It's a flyer F2.

If only the Stromer was cheaper, I'd put some lipolys in that tube :)

That's the perfect place to put your batteries, within reason. Great lookin bike, even thier language looks cool in print. Is that German?

Yes it's german. By the way, "Strom" (say the "s" like "sh") means current and an electrician is often referred to as "Stromer".

Meh... everything Swiss looks like a Swatch to me.

*salvitates*

I don't want one as I already have stealth functionality at my disposal and I don't really like the performance limits of hubs, but this would sure be the ticket for ebike ninjas. :)

i like the aesthetics..
ya got it lock.

Very clean looking! I wish we could get some performance stats, but knowing the restrictions they put on their E-Bikes, I think I'd rather not know.

My biggest beef is the heavy border around the battery cover. Other than that, it is tidy and stealthy.

The battery in the downtube is good, as is the inboard motor wiring .

td i think it must be waterproofing.but maybe no one would find the battery without it, border? would be much nicer if they had a inner wall waterproof sealer when closing.
i still use gorilla tape for waterproofing so i should stop  .

Well designed bike, well produced video...very nice !

But i would have thought a "commuter" type bike would have suspension forks at least. ?

PS: notice those tram lines in the road on the video ? .. not a place to be riding with 700c tyres !

The spoke angle at the rim still makes me cry a little, but otherwise a great job! Good to see some integrating the batteries in a better way than a rear rack mount. Rear racks have to be the worst place to put batteries from a handling standpoint. The top tub would be best during a ride, but stationary would be harder to handle.

Looking good, looking good.
