Hey all,
I have 8 or so TSDZ2 motors and it looks like one of them is exhibiting some unusual behaviour. The motor starts up fine and when I initially start pedaling, the assistance kicks on as you would expect. As soon as I stop pedaling and then start again, the motor no longer provides any assistance. The display sometimes will lock-up and display 99.9 or 0 and simply not respond. I should note that I have experienced this same issue with both the stock firmware and the OSF.
So far, I have tried the following:
- repositioned the speed sensor closer to the magnet
- I have flashed the OSF (a few different times) using version 20
- have tried adjusting the pedal torque ADC and ADC offset
With all of the other motors, I have the OSF running and have used the same configuration on this motor as I have successfully used on the others. I believe the motor may be defective but just wanted to get a second opinion on some things I could try to correct. The motor is brand new with zero kms on it so I could return it to our supplier.
