I'm selling my wife's scooter to a buddy but she bricked the battery and I'm a newbie so I'm seeking info on buying a replacement battery.

Her scooter is dual motor and her current battery has 2 XT-60 plugs but most of the ones on amazon only have a single XT-60 plug can I buy a XT-6o splitter like this and will it work?

The current battery is a chinese model with this sticker on it 52v 18-2A and I'm thinking of buying this battery and then using the splitter, will that work?

I picked that one as it's the only one I could find with size dimensions and my current battery size is 347.66mm X 130.17 X 74.61

Any feedback is appreciated thanks.

I would avoid no name packs that don’t list the brand/model of the cells it’s comprised of. These blue packs are churned out and sold by dozens of resellers , all which choose how much profit they want to make. It appears you chose one the greedier resellers.

What bike, and how is the battery mounted on it?

The splitter should work fine, as long as the battery has sufficient discharge current to supply both motors.

It'd be helpful to know about this scooter:
- how big was the original battery?
- how many watts is the motor rated at?

I would strongly recommend against buying any no-name chinese batteries w/o warranty, you won't be able to return it if it's crap, and it's likely to be crap.

This is the scooter here and I called the place where my wife bought it from but they said a battery would cost around 800-900 bucks.

It looks like it has 2 1000 watt motors.

the original battery has this sticker on it, the rest is in chinese, not sure if cantonese or mandarin.

I measured the battery and these are the dimensions

347.66mm X 130.17mm X 74.61mm (converted from inches)

I'm assuming that's a really good battery (The $800 to $900 one) but the thing is that I was going to sell it to a buddy for $500 and try to just get a battery in there for him at the lowest cost possible, is this idea not worth it?

Sell it to him cheaper so you’re not the one buying the battery that burns down his house.

He'll need a pretty decent battery to provide 40A continuous, 45A peak.

MOTOR(S) 52V 1600W
Dual 800W Motors
2300W Peak Power
CONTROLLERS 2 x 20 Amp
BATTERY SincPower 52V 18.3Ah Lithium Ion
