Very nice, I know I've seen that type of pipe holding at the local hardware store, though maybe it was white color (easily paint it black). It's a good idea though for those that don't have a lot room in their frame. I've seen others here make something similar.

Are the tubes plastic or metal?
Copy from http://www.rabbittool.com - We call these battery packs 'High Performance" because by being individually fitted into close fitting thin wall parallel aluminum tubes, they can dissipate heat more effectively and therefore can safely handle higher rates of charging and discharging than other arrangements.

I think its a ghost site.
No ghosts. Real people who answer the phone.

Here are details:
6 tubes of 5 batteries = 30 batteries = 36V
F size
12Ah
1.2V
9.2 oz

Now do the math 9.2 oz x 30 = 17 LBs. Want 72V? Thats 35 LBs with out weight of battery case. Too heavy :(

Well.... Back to http://www.batteryspace.com High Power Polymer Li-Ion Module: 37V 16Ah 40 Amp Rate. Price is way HIGH. Go here for my thoughts

Would someone please sell me a Li-Po, Li-Pee, Li-Ho, Lithium-whatever ya want to call it. Battery in a nice looking case.

I think finding Lithium batteries is not an easy task for a reason, they are not for everyone and their cat, Rabbittool has been around for a while, and they are a real company, i know they make a hub motor in conection with Sanyo.. interesting stuff. But i get the impression they are looking for vendors and re-salers with deep pockets to deal with.. not really the end-user.. i could be wrong.

I should receive my LiMn packs within a few weeks, 36v 20ah.. and join the " Testing group " of lithium early adopters..

You have to be willing to spend 1000 $ + on a battery pack and understand they may.. or may not.. live up to your expectations.

Hey.. about 2 years ago.. you would have been hard-pressed to find more than 4 people using lithium packs on their bikes ( Yes. i know there are hundreds out there.. but just try and find an honest report on a long-term used pack !!!! ) . Now, there are 100's who participate online, lookat Knoxie, Deecanio, the TF group.. etc.. It has begun ! :?
