No One Gives A Rat’s Ass

Yea, I guess 5mph would be OK except it is illegal to ride an e-bike on the bike-paths along the local beaches around here anyway. That is why you see my feet peddling, either forward or backward on the chain-ring. Just so long as it looks like my feet are "somehow" moving the bike.

This is the part I do not understand....... If Class 2 ebikes are allowed, why do you have to move your feet? Class 2 specifically allows a throttle. What makes you think ebikes are illegal on bike paths when the chart you posted says they are?

Because my bike might be a bit faster then a class 2.

So what you are saying is that while ebikes are legal on bike paths, since you don't actually own one, your electric moped or motorcycle is not welcome there. OK I understand now. I was concerned that I might have issues when riding legally down there, but now I see that I won't. Thanks for clearing it up.

Yea, what ever dude.

:D

MSF, Motorcycle Safety Foundation classes usual provide a small MC 250CC. Passing gets the riding part for licensing and endorsement covered for most states. We're no where near that but it's great training. I use the local MSF painted tarmac to test my bikes braking. Have some one help and flag you without warning and see what your stopping distance is in a hard braking situation. VERY REVEALING. It helps to know just what the bike will do. Some of the other exercises like riding in the box are helpful too.

Ride on to post another day!
