Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev!

Hi Vasili, I pre-ordered a 6F that I wanted to change to 12F, but do you think it's better to wait for the new 6F model ?

Has anyone tried running a Cyclone 3000w with a Nucular 6f? Just made an order for one, hope it is a good match.

Did you ever get any definitive answer about this?
I'm planning the same - it looks like there should be some headroom on that controller, but I'm on my first build so want some hand holding :wink:

I'm running 4kw cyclone with 12F. 10kw peaks. Cyclone with Nuc works well.

They recomended a 12F on a 3kw motor, so I put in a preorder for that. I do think I would have made a 6f work for the current build Im planning, but I know myself, so buying a 12f is probably a good idea anyway... 😬

I've now moved to an LMX 30mm motor. Adam at LMX bikes told me he thought it would be a bit under powered on the 6F. Nucular said they thought the 6F would be OK. I need to decide if I would prefer compact controller or possibly more power.
I'll probably buy the insurance of the 12F, but for my build I suspect the 6F might just be OK.

If you take the 12F, you can set it for 4 or 5kW to preserve the engine or 10kW for performance. If you take the 6F maybe you will want to take the 12F later for more power.

Hi,
Is there a link to what order number you are currently up to.
Gives us an idea of how far away our order is.
Thanks for a great controller and your online support. Can't wait to get mine.

Hi guys ! Can you give me an idea of tuning to get the most economical operation possible for my 450kg vehicle. :roll:
A minimum of 85A battery is required to drive at 50km / h on a flat road.

Thanks Vasili ! I will try :thumb:

cosmetic bug report :D

Wattage overlays amps in Display.

it would be cool to have the option to change in Display watt to kw.
so low power users can use watts and high power geeks can use kw in display.

Hi friends :D
Last night I did a little test with the settings in economy mode:
The consumption went from 101wh / km to 70wh / km on the same short route: cool:

Current setting in V1 = 85A battery - 250A phases - 100% speed - FW disabled => 70wh / km
Appropriate acceleration and maximum speed of more than 45km / h real.

Previou setting in V1 = 85A battery - 450A phases - 150% speed - FW= 30A => 101wh / km.
Good acceleration and maximum speed of 54km / h.

Another previous setting in V1 = 100A battery - 160A phases - 150% speed - FW = 80A => 95wh / km.
Soft acceleration and maximum speed of 54km / h.

Thanks Vasili :bigthumb:

Hi !
I connected my little Gophret 6003 directly to charge the battery.
Now that my motor has a sensor on the winding I can use the controller to charge the battery.
On the controller, I set the battery voltage to 83v max, the charging current to 2.5A max. I set the engine temperature to 50 ° c max.
The Gophret is set to 60v and 2.5A.

to PITMIX:
If you are using engine speed below maximum, or there is strict battery/phase current limitation - FW will not work
