Hi - I am troubleshooting a new setup.

I have a 48V ezee battery, Phaserunner V2, CA V3, and direct drive crystalyte motors.

My regen seems to drain power at low speeds. So, once I slow down successfully (and doing some appropriate battery charging), the system (according to CA) says that I am using power (and quite a bit > 100 W). Can this be related to the setting "Regen brake speed min = 0.5 km/hr"?

My other settings:

Max Regen phase current = 20 A
Max Regen battery current = 5 A (FYI - I have 2 motors and 2 phaserunners).

My setup worked perfectly with Grinfineon controllers. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Jamie

More info - this problem of Regen braking draining power at low speeds seems to begin at just a bit under 10 km/hr. So not really that slow. It works great from 35 kph down to 10, then starts drawing power.

thanks goatman. Plug-braking must be the reason. Annoying since there does not seem an easy way to turn off without doing a firmware update.
