Placment and istallation of Hall sensor

Hi !

I’m rebulding a G510 ultramax with a phaserunner, the controller that i’m replacing had a ic hall.

That meens i have to install hallsensors, and by my calculation with 8 magnets/4polepair and 12 windings it would be correct at 30 degree ?


How i connect the hallsensors together and to the controller i need help with ?

Most likely one of these threads has the info you need, though you'll have to adapt from whatever system is used in each thread to yours, as there aren't any I know of using what you are that are doing this.

I have been reading a bit and think i figured it out, will post the process if it successfull.

Think i found to my surprice the slots from the old version still present in the stator

If i compare it tho the Bafang G330 M400 the design, rotor and stator looks the same just a smaler version


Can i use the hallsensor asemblie from the M400 on the M620/G510.
Anything i should be aware of ?

Got answar from tech where the PR is orderd.
« You can use the SS41 sensors, as you can see from the PCB, there are some filter capacitors to help smooth the signals from the sensors. Any 6V or higher ceramic cap should be fine.

You can also see there is a temp sensor.

I'd install a 10K NTC temp sensor with B3900 or B3600, and secure it to the motor winding directly.

Note that you should place the halls in a 120° timing configuration.»
