Poll: whats your favourite bike accessory?

I must say a good mirror. My other recumbent has a mirror that mounts in the end of the handlebar. Maybe I should borrow that since the unpowered bike isn't seeing much use anyway. Next I want a cycle analyst and better batteries..

The accessory that I've used more than I imagined I ever would is the Xtracycle bought half price on craigslist in Aug. 2006.
Married to a sweet mixte frame it became my favourite bike.
Before that the Arkel LadyBug pannier/back-pack was the most frequently used accessory. . .
not counting racks, fenders and lights.
If locks and helmets count as accessories, the lock has been more useful.
le Béte runs a CA and PowerGrips, both of which have proven worthwhile.

I want a Cycle Analyst. Although i think Cycle analyst should have a remote display system the module would go near the controller and battery, while the display is near the handle bar. less wire to run from controller to CA

unless I am mistaken (too often!), the existing CA has a bare minium of slender, slinky, enclosed wires. It is not a...that other make of thang with its heavy, heavy pair of in-out wires.

Wish list:

CA should be larger display for low-vision (old eyes) riders. Would be a nice touch
KEEP the speedo/odo function, for-evah.
I, personally, do not need the regen calculator function. Others will make use of it, sure. But for me:
I'd like to be able to user-opt-out of toggling through some of the function, regen in particular.

BUT OVERALL, the CA, as it is, is WONDERFUL. I like it much better, even than my bike's Incredibell.
(joshing). I like the present CA better than any other bike helper of them all.

And you know, its so reasonably priced for hand-made in NA by genuine craftsmen who KWTADAWTADI

Bontrager Hank slicks (NB, READ BELOW) are my second fave, if I could have only one of the two.

NB: innocents: from all reports so far, the Hanks are the best slick tire out there.

Anyway: such thin tires as the supple Hanks are, even though oversized and run at low pressure,
ARE SUBJECT to thorn puncts. and glass bottle slices.

I have no thorns or nails here on Miami streets.
The bottles are all thrown, hidden in the bushes or in the rare and bumpy-lumpy bike paths here,
or on the Causeway bridge bike path.

I LIKE SLICKS for a number of very honest reasons, BUT, they may not be good for YOU, if you suffer thorns or slush/snow/mud.
I have never had a flat, but our roads here are clean, clean, clean.

The "Large Screen High Current Model (CA-HC-LS) " should meet your needs. It works fine with low current fine, but it is designed to handles up to 200v for EVs instead of the 100v of the regular CA. I have one of the original large-screen prototypes for ebikes, and use a production CA-HC-LS in my VW Bus EV Conversion:

my favourite is probably the rear trunk because it can carry shit loads of stuff almost like being a trike. i'm not convinced about the helmet mounted rear view mirror, it vibrates a lot and takes too long to focus on. handlebar mount might be better.

If you find the image is vibrating too much, try adding more mass the mirror end (to reduce the amplitude of the vibration) and mount on something compliant to dampen the resonance effect.
