I'm confident dogman meant "a cheap 50 watt lipo charger".

I have two of those cheap chargers, Supermate DC6 - 1 to 6 cells balance chargers, bought new from hobbypartz.com. They are junks. Both of them failed within a week. Neither one really worked before that. They simply could not balance an unbalanced pack (deliberately created). So at least stay away from that specific model.
