Problem i cant work out.

Hey, my scooter will only stay on and keep voltage while it's plug into the charger and the charger is switched on. Any clue what that means. Thanks alot

Sounds to me like the BMS in the battery has closed the output for some reason, like the cells could be really unbalanced, under discharged, shorted from rust/moisture etc.

Ok great thanks. What's the best way of fixing it do you think.

You need a multimeter and some tools to disassemble the battery case to check each cell voltage.

If you don't have experience testing and repairing batteries and other electrical/electronic stuff, the *best* way to fix it is to replace the battery pack as a whole with the same kind as the original. (batteries can catch fire if handled incorrectly, or shorted, etc).

Depending on the system, you might have to get that from the scooter manufacturer. We can't help with that since you haven't provided any information on the system, battery, charger, scooter, etc.
