Selfmade ebike age :- 1.5 year
I made a 350w shinewave controller ebike .my controller is a bit special because it can work with or without hall sensors but a bit noisy without hall sensors due to feedback and calculation stuff. I bought both motor and controller separately but i found a small problem as soon as i bought it 1.5 years ago. Problem was that when ever i throttle my ebike suddenly motor starts shuttering like it's trying to move but can't due to gear system but when i throttle slowly no shuttering occurs and after getting 3-5 km/h speed this problem Dissappears even if i throttle suddenly but when i checked every thing was fine with motor and it's gears and shuttering only occurs when motor is on load i tried to find any other phase sequence but no other sequence work don't know what's wrong with my ebike.

Please igore my mistakes i am not good with english

Hi, Probably motor have more power is controller. When startup Current (Amperage) is too high - Overcurrent protection. Please write specify the power of the engine and controller - Max A ex. 30A in motor and max power in W (Watt) from motor and controller or Battery voltage is drop, when use AGM, or battery is small capacity for this power. Battery type and capacity also.

It's just not a good implementation of sensorless start. All the cheap sensorless controllers will behave like that, some worse than others. I guess you're supposed to pedal first to get it up to speed. By keeping the throttle low enough, you can keep it from losing sync until it gets going fast enough.
A motor with hall sensors avoids this issue, which is why most people use them.
