Punctured tire prevention?

the solution is to get a motorcycle tyre AND rim around the same size as 26''. This way you cant go wrong. The only issue i can think of is finding the right spokes to accommodate both hub motor and the motocycle rim. I think last version of hs3540 has smaller holes for 13ga/14ga right?

For you: Rims and Tires Reference

I haven't found a direct 26" replacement, but if you can locate one - I am all ears friend :)

Addendum:
Last year I had considered Moto tyres for the bike and I have a couple of studies to share. The first was centered around a 21” rim:
The second was around an 18” rim:
In retrospect, the 2.75” wide tyre would have likely been too wide for my DH frame.

In North America, can we do better? KF

FYI - Another product to check out: Tech Tubes. I contacted the dealer and he said:

Our smallest [diameter] is 3.5 inch largest is 4.25 inch we can cut the insert to any length you like.

Slim pickin's in the Butyl Foam Tire Insert market :?

I have read several threads on motorcycle tyres and bicycle rim combos, including the 20" BMX rim 16" m'cycle tyre details http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=18511&start=25
Can anyone confirm if this Continental 2.0-22 motorcycle tyre will fit a heavy duty 26" bicycle rim? http://www.classictyres.com/item/695/26-2-0-2-0-22--continental-road-tyre--block-universal

Hypothetically, that's the same size as an MTB tire. But it weighs as much as a 4-5" fatbike tire at half the width, so I expect it to be stiff and to present some resistance to being mounted and dismounted.

Any reason you'd prefer that to a heavily armored bicycle tire like a Schwalbe Marathon Plus, Michelin Pilot City, or CST Salvo?

Just looking at options and Kingfish asked the question

I agree Schwalbe Marathon Plus is a great tyre and I have them on 2 of my e-bikes. The tread is great for road use but not so much for dirt & grass and only lasts about 3 months at about $65 a pop retail here in Aus.
