Quad Bike 24v 350 watt

Hi there,

Can anyone help the motor on my sons quad bike works perfectly, however the sprocket just spins on the shaft. The small pin is in place. Do i need to replace the motor?

Can you post a picture?
Sounds like the pin sheared off, which could be replaced.

Or it could have spun the shaft, which is still fixable and probably will not require replacement, just a machinist... Which might be more expensive. Pics my friend, like it says all over the the net, Pics or GT... ::coughs:: or it didn't happen.
