Rad battery on kit build

I'm building a kit bike. Do you see any problems if I use my 2019 rad mini battery to run it? Is it as simple as just connecting the positive and negative terminals to the kit controller?
I want to alternate usage between the mini and the kit bike.

A few systems, like BionX (bankrupt) will configure the battery with extra data wires whose main purpose is to tell the controller it''s a genuine Bionx battery. Sure, they can be useful for diagnostics too, but the main reason is to force the user to use the same brand of battery. Called proprietary.

Radmini is a simple two pin battery. Buy a second cradle so it will be secure on the kit. It makes sense to share a battery between different ebikes. You can only ride one at a time.

Thanks, that's what I suspected. This the response I got from rad when I asked them the same question: "We highly recommend against doing any DIY projects with the electrical equipment of your Rad Power Bike, especially with the battery and controller. This could cause a dangerous situation for you, and we want you to be as safe as possible when riding rad. Please do not attempt this for safety and liability reasons. Doing so will void your warranty."

RAD is worried about 2 things. Warranty costs and tech support.

If they suggested anything but the reply you received, they would be liable for one or both. When it comes to anything but very simple mods, calling or writing RAD is a waste of your time. Best if you don't expect ANY help from them regarding mods of any kind.
