My Fat tire 24V/30A scooter is getting a motor upgrade. In is a 750W 35A/24V electric lawnmower battery that runs at 4365 rpm. It is a long motor, about 8" but is smaller in diameter than the original 250W(?) motor and about 2x the speed. I have a 9 tooth sprocket (25% underdriven) and the original 55t rear sprocket. I worried the torque of this motor is not going to be enough for this combo as when it was cuttung grass, it wasnt that good as I had to really slow my travel down to not bog its 14" blade. Anyone think this thing will work? >2x wattage, 2x motor speed, 25% underdrive, same voltage.
