Im running a 72v battery with 100 line and 180 phase with a 9/61 gear ratio on the stock wheel and it just has insane torque. 180 is decently manageable but is there any way to keep the full phase amps (360A) with less torque? When I run 360 phase amps, it just instantly loops. Maybe a throttle curve change? I am using a Fardriver 72360. I also got an 11t sprocket to run 11/61 for less torque, but I don't need the extra speed. I just want a more manageable bike. Do I need to just settle for the lower phase numbers?

More phase amps more tourque.
Easiest way is to set lower phase amps.
You could also reduce the seetings in ratios of speed for the lower rpm numbers and use higher settings and more tourque in the middle of the rpm range. Normaly they are set like 100% , 95%,90%,85%, 80 %... falling down to zero at max rpm.

Are you using field weakening?
If so, you could use the 11t sprocket and reduce FW.
