can i run my rear 9C without the torque arms?
42v stock controller on a fs bike
would it be dangerous ?

My advice is get torque arms, two of them. They are cheap. Start with wrenches and hose-clamps, then move up to professional-looking ones when you can.

IF...the accel/deccel rocks back and forth enough, it will spread the drop-outs. It will then chew on the metal and eventually it will spin the axle and rip out the wires. You will have to limp home, tear it apart, and reattach the wires to the correct pins inside the motor.

Until then, drive your E-bike easy. Just a thought, do as you wish...

Post a picture and description of your setup for more suggestions.

I have forged steel dropouts, use the torque washer on the inside, and have the small stock 9C torque arms on the outside.
They aren't bolted to anything, but sit in a way so that if they move more than a mm they will jam against one of the frame tubes. During 3 mo of riding they haven't moved that mm. So yes, it is possible to ride w/o the torque arms. But why take the risk?

Nic pic spinningmagnets. A good example of a quick release dropout that will fit any motor poorly, and be likely to spinout when the washers deform eventually. Those little cups for the qr hub are death.
