Ridehax Podcast (was :Endless Sphere Podcast / Ebike Nerdcast)

Sorry man I've been trying to get some people together to do another, still hoping to keep it a monthly show.! Everyone is wicked busy though.

Excellent stuff!

Latest edition of the Podcast is up. Sorry for such a delay. We're going to try to keep them at least on a monthly basis: http://troyrank.com/2012/02/13/episode-18/

What fun

Thanks for that guys, podcast was a whole lot of fun!! how on earth did George Michael pop up in a discussion about electric bikes? ha ha you gotta have faith faith faith...he he. :p

Great podcast.

The Cromotor / Hubzilla is similar to a couple of 9C rotors side by side, but I sure don't believe they are made that way. I haven't taken mine apart to see yet. They are 50mm wide, and the 9C is 28, so that would not quite work out. I'm looking forward to firing mine up, but it will be awhile to get everything ready.

It would be nice to hear more about Recumbent ebikes. They seem to be less common, but the higher efficiency and better ergonomics are great for longer rides.

Keep up the good work!

Fantastic man! I can't wait. Now you're giving us the whole three hours right?!! :D
I'm going to post it in 3 hours long episodes...

I want people to listen to all of it, because it's all super-awesome, so I think that's the best way to accomplish that. I'm editing now:)

Perfect! I can't wait. I'm currently working a gig in a steel mill, which is an 1.5 hour drive round trip. That means no eBike for the next month...and alot of time for podcasts!

You can only spend 3 hours on the phone if :
A: You're a teenage girl
B: You're gay
C: You're talking ebikes with Justin Lemire-Elmore

Awesome!

What a fun hour that just was!! brilliant, great to hear from the great man himself and super exited to hear about the world trip too! that would be so neat! and I would certainly tag along for a couple of weeks if Justin came to the UK :) might even shoot a bit of video of it too!

I think following Justin on the Canada trip on ES back in the day was one of the most exiting things, it was great to look at Google maps, see where he was heading the next day, asking him to check certain things out for you, he would then post back pictures of what you had asked him to do! awesome stuff, you couldn't fail to be impressed by what he did using so little energy.

Cant wait for the next instalment guys, great job as ever!

he mentioned some 'characters' in the UK. i wondered who he was talking about...

Ha ha yes he jokingly said once he would just keep riding when he got to the other side of Canada and come and meet us!! ha ha how cool 8) amphibious ebike :) I could listen to him talk all day, the Buddha of ebikes 8)

Its funny you know meeting your bike heroes, a few years back when I met up with Steve Head of technical bikes it was kind of like meeting up with someone famous for me, I had watched all his videos and followed his posts, it was so cool to meet up, Justin is the star of the show, I would also love to meet Luke :D and you guys of course
