I've set up a front hub ebike for my wife using the new Grin X1 motor and Baserunner Z9 with 52v battery. It is promoted as very powerful for its size. The baserunner X1 default file limits power to 1000 watts. And that is plenty.
But I'm confused about the Phase Current limit. The default file limits to 45A while the baserunner itself is capable of 55A. And the motor simulator shows 54A maximum motor current.

Grin tech support is slammed these days and all I've been able to glean is that one tech seems to think 45A is plenty. I've tried to determine what the risk is of bumping this up to, say, 50A. My goal is to improve acceleration off the line when carrying 30lb groceries. Not planning big hill climbs where motor might overheat (in any case, X1 has a thermistor and CA3 will rollback on overheating).
Would appreciate advice if anyone has experience with this new motor and practical limits to phase current, injection current, voltage ramps. Want to increase performance without damaging motor.
