O.K. the frist 60a bms was o.k. but the neg wire from the battery was cracked so cut the wire neg. wire from the battery. The # 1 led blew and the 3 bars on top right of the board under the # 1 sense wire. The second 60a. bms brunt the 2r22 on the back of the board becase of over balancing and light blubs which I think I blew it then. 18ah why should I have played with this battery ? The 40a was alawys draining on #15 with led always on then when taken out on test drive # 2 fet got hot and melteg down so took it off and waited for new bms.

Sorry for the bad news. Sounds like a captain taking on water and going down with his ship. Ahh, should of left your BMS alone. Remember "if it aint broken dont fix it". I think the BMS crapped out because of your battery. How is your battery? Well, we all learn from mistakes and Ive made more mistakes than anybody, but this forum sure helps solving our mistakes.

There are two ways to get pictures on. You can either load the pictures up into a photo sharing site, like Flickr or Photobucket and then just paste the link here between image tags i.e put the URL of the image between

or you can load the pictures as attachments, using the "upload attachment" tab at the bottom of the post edit screen. If you click on "upload attachment" the instructions are pretty clear. You click "browse", find the image file you want on your PC, click "open" then click "add the file", wait a short time while the file loads to the forum server then click "place inline" and the image will appear at the end of your text, between attachment tags. You can cut'n'paste the attachment tag section to place the image anywhere you want in your post.

Loading images as attachments has limitations on file size, plus it's best to keep images to no more than 800 pixels wide otherwise they don't show well on smaller screens. I resize all my images to medium quality jpgs with a width of 800 pixels using the "resize" option that comes with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, but pretty much any photo software will do much the same thing. I try and keep jpgs down to less than a couple of hundred kb, just so they load fairly quickly.

Hay got my bms'sback from Ping 2-60a. & 1-40 a. and a 5a, chargher the new plugs are all the same old v2.5 pings are defferen charge plugs. the cargher soundas great as the 2a. ch. always had a noise on lease you drop it from a small distant you know ? A light hammer works(lightly) The 5a. chargher said it at 60.5v better then 61.4v o.k. Next install a bms and see or install all the new Lyen controller and bms with the C.A. what is the shun res. of that controller the crstalyte was 1.66 what every that meens ? It's the 129.00 model i think it's a 12 fet help.This is a good match ? Zip
