SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

Okay so with a 12.23v battery, .63amps going though the light bulb to the motor, there was a .06v drop.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmPEd3r6nEE
so .06/.63=.0952ohms
Does that sound right with upgraded phase wires?

I also retightened the spokes.
Maybe I'll give it a spin before I pull it apart to see if that did anything.

temp was working right before I hit the bump.
Then the first time I came up to the bike after it had set I noticed the temp at 91c.
When I road it it went to about 60 something c then started climbing with motor temp.
Which is fast because the motor heats up fast now. :(

Man, that almost sounds like you have a false positive phase wire connection...

Are your Phases and halls connected as follows?:

Blue-Blue
Yellow-Green
Green-Yellow

yep they are.
Everything was working great till I hit that bump. Except for hitting 100+amps. Maybe the shunt isn't right?
Uploading video of the inside now.

After making the video I inspected further and found that the freewheel side bearing was pretty stiff and I could feel a roughness in it.

Hello all.
Any Idea's of what the problem might be?

I've never used a shunt or a CA, but it seems like a reading of OL across the shunt would mean it is open. Bad shunt? Check for voltage before and after it.

Okay will do.
I did check from Anderson to Anderson and it was 0 ohms.
But will check voltage.
The hole reason I was doing this was to cross check what the amp reading was with the CA.
To get the shunt calibrated right on the CA v3.
Since this video I've been told my controller's shunt should be 1.33mOhms so I'm going to try that.
Stock the CA v3 comes at 1.000 mOhms.

made a couple video's.
The bike is in a sorry state. Broke the chain which is nbd I had to shorten it up any way and I should really have a stronger chain.
Then went for another ride and the bearing got much worse so the motor is pretty much not usable at all now.
At this point I'm going to put the gas/electric build on hold and make this fat bike a big block mid drive ebike only.
Thinking of using this motor. http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=57483
Or the revolt 120. http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=58893
most likely I'll use the bht because of its lower kv and cost.
When I do recommence the gas electric build I'll probably do 2wd 1500w 35mil stator leaf motors with a slower kv.

With two programmable sine wave controllers like this one.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Programmable-electric-bike-3kw-brushless-dc-sine-wave-motor-controller-ebike-motor-controller-3kw/32234551877.html
(I don't really need that powerful of a controller for the leaf motor but the 2000w one didn't have the programing display shown.)
If you scroll down on the sine wave controller link you can see the slip is fully programmable, and separate than regen brake programming. It would be nice to program what rpm the slip activates and how many amps it will generate.
Though I'm still curious on how the slip mode will work on the Infineon with the regen set at moderate.

Videos are uploading...

video's are pretty boring.
Don't know if there worth putting up here.

Ehh I decided to show em any way. Just so you guy's can see how it can go wrong.
I thinks trying to charge the battery using such a strong slip mode is hard on the freewheel side bearing.
When I try this again later it will be with no slip mode or very slight.
But I did see 6.5 amps slip charge (if the CA is right) that's about 500w of charge!
first video where I brake the chain in the end.
sorry the camera is point too far down on both videos.
Warning video is boring till about 18.50 into it.

this one is right after. Tried to make a fun video but the bearing got worse and the motor started heating up quickly.
I wish I had a video of when it was working.

been puttsing with the other ebike.
got two 6s 16ah and a string of 3s ~16ah can go 15 miles full board ~35mph with the cheep 32$ 15fet 60v controller.
Going to try the other 60v controller next with the better fets but it doesn't have 120% throttle, it has 35,50,and 100 I think.
Third vid is the best.

Cool. That bike is fast. Looking forward to seeing the "Dual Power" Fatbike in action. Always thought a gas/electric hybrid would be a fun project. Bike on!

Thanks man.
Since this I have taken it all off and ran a the gnh big block in it.
But ran it wrong and didn't find out till just yesterday.

I still want to build this but it's on the back burner for now...
Here is a video where I show the big block in the fat bike but its all dark so its hard to see.
I should have snapped some shots.
Video is a good Segway to me new builds.
I got two cx450's for a couple hundred bucks and been playing with those.

just started the build thread for the cx's
