How do i fit an 8 gauge wire into a 4mm connecter.. i have tried a couple times now.. but its just not working..

I can the the wire and connecter to stick.. but half the wire isnt connected..
can i trim to 8 gauge wire to fit into the connector?

Any tips/tricks?

Sometimes it's better to just use 12awg wire and make life easier :)

If you really want to use an 8awg wire. I simply just solder the 8awg wire end and cut around it until it fits into the 4mm connector. Make sure it's a bit longer that way you can solder above the 4mm bullet to heat the "pre-solder" and have it really fill inside the bullet for a secure connection.

Well i did it.. ahah

more or less made the 8g wires fit into the 4mm connector and soldered it.

just hooked up bat to esc and motor.

now the esc/motor are beeping .i dont see any lights on the esc that are on either..

using a mamba xl2.. Could it be because i cant get my transmitter and receiver to connect?

also any reason why the field link wont connect to esc...
