Specialized Diverge Elite - Bafang BBSHD

Hi folks,

Another build I did a while back before the pandemic. Probably around 2018 I think.

Specialized Diverge with a Bafang. 21kg with a nice top speed. With a lot of sweat I managed 43mph on a flat road. A joy to ride.
Managed to hide the main loom inside the frame and put some reed switches inside the levers for the brakes motor cut out.
E-One tires, amazing to ride. Sadly the tektro mech brakes are not amazing.

Have you ever tried the Avid BB7's? (work great on my SB Cruiser trike).

o navigate Avid BB7's?

Yup! Trikes front brakes and they do stop! Decent trike stopping distance. But Tektro has more than one version. I have a set and I can't say one is better. BB7? Ive found BB7's have an easier to navigate parts stream. A lesson that was expensive.

Yes, I have them on another bike, they are pretty good for mechanical and the price. Big fan.
This bike came with those brakes and it was sold like that.

You might consider hybrid (mechanical hydro). It’s hard to find decent reviews, and some apear to be better than others.
