I have an older 72v 50amp crystalyte from a stealth bike I just got I think 8yrs old ? Tring to find the off/on switch as stealth has a off/on handlebar switch.
Here's a pic.16574942618832515778292356150244.jpg
I see three big phase 5 hall and four throttle wires, the thr battery wires a red and white Anderson and two wire jst connectors. So is the off/on the red and white or the 2 wire just. Or the extra wire on the throttle ? I couldn't get the light on the controller to work. Help.

When the controller is connected to the battery but nothing else, which wire(s) other than the main battery positive wire, and any of the phase wires, has full battery voltage on it? That wire will be the KSI (keyswitch ignition) wire's battery positive supply wire, and the one paired with it should be the actual KSI wire that you connect to that one to turn the controller on (but you should open it and check to be sure, as applying battery voltage to the wrong one will blow up the controller)).

If there is no wire that has full battery voltage on it, then there's no good way to be sure which one is the KSI wire without opening it up and looking for the one that comes from the input to the low-voltage power supply (LVPS) section of the controller.

You'll also want to check that the handlebar switch isn't already wired to something else like a 5v system, as some on/off switches don't turn the controller itself on and off, but only the throttle. Or they may control a relay somewhere.

I tried to take the controller apart but stopped when I found the board hot glued in place was hoping to find its one of two wire sets. The red and white Andersons or the other two wire jst wire blue shrink tube? If not will get out the hot knife and operate and then take pics.
Here is the back of the board.

Ok open it up and the jst goes from red WHT to black and yellow.
The red/ WHT goes to two red one to pos the other toVcc-L on the board.

The bottom looks like the ignition ?

I broke out an old lyen controller and one ignition wire goes to Vcc- and one to the my outside pos. Wire for ignition so must be it ? Will find out later. Please someone confirm. I can't let the smoke out. Again.

The Vcc-L looks like the ignition line but to be sure, I'd try following the trace on the board to see what it goes to. It should go to a voltage regulator.

Thanks Fechter and E-hp good pic and yes different model.
As you see the 2 pin female says reverse on mine. What happen if it's not reverse but the ignition ? It shouldn't hurt as the controller wouldn't be powered up. One more the 4 wire throttle red, blk and green throttle and the wire full voltage Right. How do you program this controller ? Plus you have 11 wires outputs and I have 8. Anyway here is my pron.

E-hp I see your off/on switch hook a string on it and pu it on your left little finger. Kill switch. For cheap.
