I was wondering about doing a pretty long ebike trip through europe, no particular route or destination in mind!

If anyone else here might be up for that, leave a comment... :)

Vienna is very nice, loved it when I was there.
I would buy a rail pass, EuroRail they are very cheap.
I dont know if they allow bicycles on or not.

Terrific biking all over europe...especially Germany, Austria, northern Italy. The main thing is the availability of virtually never having to ride on a road with a car. Check Google bike overlay and you'll see all the bike-ONLY paths but in addition there's what I call "logging" roads through the woods that are hard-packed dirt perfect for riding. And same across the fields where you can also legally ride on the "farmer" roads.

Most rivers have easy bike paths along them as do many canals in France. The e-bike is especially nice in the Alps but you got to watch the juice when climbing - go slow to save.

Also most countries have a wattage and speed limit for e-bikes...play it cool and you'll never be stopped.

Study Google, get a couple large scale maps, and a GPS.

Have fun
