Sweet "Neon" lighting for a Bicycle Fairing!

I have been considering a variety of different options for a fairing for my touring E-Bike, and I think I found the perfect way to light it!

It's really amazing! This isn't exactly the method I envisioned, but it's exactly the effect I want when I light my fairing!

A lot of cool lighting that could run on a spare 12v lipo out there, in the car stores.

I wouldn't think so no, because the LED's are pointing away from you, and they make the windshield "glow" mostly on the edges, much like the effect of lighting a fiber optic tube. Along the sides of the tube, the light is just noticeable, on the end of the tube is where it is brightest, much the same effect on the windshield.

Look at the second picture in that Ebay link and you will see what I mean, it looks a lot brighter in the pic I linked, unfortunately I couldn't find a second pic of the lit windshield from the side, it acts more like a "glow" at the outline of the shield than anything truly bright.
