Hello
Anyone knows how much heat can resist the BBSHD before something goes wrong?

Based in this post, the BBS02 should no get hotter than:

140F + Stop riding and let it cool
130F + Don’t use full throttle, only half throttle
120F + Take it easy
110F or less go whole hog

I respect Karl, but I don't believe in his temp sensing method, the water sensor is too slow, it gives you a rough idea but it's not in the motor winding or near the FET's on the controller.

Unless you are bumping the amps over 30amps you have no reason to monitor temp on a BBSHD.

If you monitor motor windings you should see a lot more than 200f, Eric at Luna monitored up to 300f in the windings on a 40-55amps modded BBSHD with an Adaptto controller.
