Hello!
I crashed with my fairly new tsdz2 500w bike and the motor is acting weird since the crash. It give no assist during low speed and sound strange. At higher speeds it kicks in with some noise and goes well after, as long as I don't stop pedaling so the speed drops. Does it have an low and a high gear? Is the lower gear broken? Is it easy to fix? Clutch problem?

Motor assist is determined by the assist level. Eco, Street, Tour, Turbo on the VLDC5, and how hard you push down on the pedals. For some reason, the spacing of the magnet and speed sensor can affect the assist. That should be around 1 cm. If you are a new rider, you may not be waiting 19 secinds after you power up the display, which allows the controller to calibrate the torque sensor,

If you mean the output from pedal assist is acting weird it's possible the torque sensor was thrown out of calibration or damaged, I recall having a pretty serious pedal strike and it caused some weirdness. It zeros out when you turn it on as doc said so don't want your feet on the pedals when you power it up but if the torque sensor is slightly bent from a crash it may still act weird.
