Hello.

How do you put torque arm in rear hubs like this for example:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip-flop_hub

I am looking for good new rear hub to replace my coaster brake single speed hub. That had already "arm" because of coaster brake... (https://si.shimano.com/pdfs/si/SI-2860B-000-ENG.pdf)

I dont see any place in fixie hub for torque arm ?! :(

A hub motor needs a torque arm. A coaster brake or drum brake hub needs a torque arm. An internally geared hub needs a torque arm, or torque washers.

But a plain hub without any of these things doesn't have any torque to transfer to the frame. That's why it doesn't have a torque arm.

If you're suggesting that the only brake you'll use is regenerative braking from the hub motor, well that's a bad idea.

no, i have disc brakes at front. but im using mid motor to brake rear wheel.

If you're using the mid-drive for braking, than that's what needs the torque arm (or rather, it just needs to be very securely installed in general).

The hub doesn't need a torque arm for the same reason that you pedaling your single-speed or derailleur bicycle doesn't necessitate a rear hub torque arm - no torque is being transferred via the axle, so there's no need to brace the axle against that nonexistent torque.

Maybe if you provide your reasoning for why you think you need a torque arm, that would help others know what you are talking about.
