TSDZ2 Throttle question 6 pin what do i need to to do

I Currently have a 750w tsdz2 in bits Currently repairing a sensor fault. Whist its stripped down
1. Can i make it 8 pin?
2. do I add extra wires to make it 8 pin.
3. Does the firmware need upgrading as well... I have a spare 3 pin throttle. Ready to go....

The display is the standard display which is also 6 pin...do i wire extra wires from motor to display or simply add extra cable?

Easiest way would be to get a new controller with the 8 pin cable.

imho there is now problem to add an extra cable. The same is done with adding a temperature sensor.
The only bit of a problem will be to scratch off the jelly compound and take out the 3-wire cable of the motorcase to the handlebar.
