Has anyone tried this motor with the coaster brake option?
My knowledge is very basic and I have read through many of the forums discussing mid drive motors and coaster brakes especially the bbs01/02. And I've also seen a few discussions on what I assume is the standard version of the TSDZ2. But I would like to know how the coaster brake version works (does the brake still work with this motor installed?), or are there any other mid drive motor versions out there that support a coaster brake somehow (I understand why they don't seem to).

It will not work. Pedaling backwards will not move the chain.
Sorry, answered too fast... I wasn't aware that this motor also comes in a special coaster break version.
Weird that this motor comes in so many different versions and branded with so many different names.

Interesting ... this video shows them reaming out the BB to install the motor.

It's probably not uncommon to be cutting into the BB cavity, I had to take a rotary file to my bike so the BBS02 would fit. I just had to smooth down the spots where the original thread cutter stopped. Apparently, they're just a little higher.

Now the second part of that video would be a little daunting. Squeezing the frame a bit for clearance? I might pass.
