I want to post about my experience with the Mercane 2020 15ah Wide Wheel Pro scooter with key. I purchased mine from Alibaba in Feb 2020 from Shenzhen Yizhida Intelligent Technology because the US distributor did not have the model with key lock at the time. After arriving a month late from China, the scooter only had a top speed of 19mph in ludicrous mode. It is supposed to be 26mph. I have spoken to the seller in China about the problem on many occasions and they now say after a lot of runaround that this model is not rated to go 26mph in the US and 19mph is the maximum speed. All of the advertisements and YouTube reviews in the US say the 15ah model will go 26mph. I suggested a new controller and seller said it’s not defective and it’s the way it’s supposed to be. I would not recommend purchasing from any Alibaba seller vs buying from a reputable seller in the states. The seller offered for me to send back only if I pay return shipping, on a defective product they should pay return shipping. Live and learn.
