I am currently working om a new type of generator,( probably will be 10x more efficient than current WT's) to attach to my New VAWT. Here are some of my video's showing the slim cylydrical shape and style I hope to be using for actually production for domestic and Industrial purposes.... My Chimney VAWT's are currently ''without'' my soon new to be invented generator, though once I patent my new generator, then it will be go,go,go

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tGhSEfiKSM This vidoe is me explaining how to overcome vibrational problems by using outer bearings if I built the VAWT's at 200 Feet High out of strong plastic pipes or metal tubing. The liquid nails are only used for very small VAWT's when applying thin plastic ribbed sheets in ''curved strips'' of about 3 to 4 inches.

My testors are only roughly built so please don't attack me too harshly

Will be interested in your new design. I went through the windpower bug sometime ago. Was a lot of work and a lot of fun. If you can find a way to extract more power in lower wind conditions (than is currently out there), then you'll probably have no problem attracting a crowd. Good luck - will keep an eye  on this thread..
