Hello, I have a problem with my graphic equaliser and radio and was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts.
Basically I am having trouble with the black wires. In the picture you see that it says "green - L", and "grey - R" ...underneath that there is a black negative. What does this wire connect to?
I have wired up the radio to the equalizer as shown in the picture ...every time I turn the radio on there is no sound. I then take the black wires from the equalizer off the car metal and off the back of the radio and there is sound, so only the radio negative is connected to a ground...I then re-attach the wires from the equalizer back to the back of the radio and the cars ground and the equalizer works etc. I then turn off the radio and turn back on and once again without moving any of the wires and there is no sound.
It is all to do with the 3 black wires. The earth black wire from the radio and the two black wires from the equalizer. I am going round in circles and I can't seem to work out what I'm doing wrong.
Can anybody shed some light and point me in the right direction please?
I can take pictures of the radio etc if that helps.
