I have been happily converting vintage Vespas to electric over the past year and a half now. I think the total is now at 5 converted--not to mention the 2 Vespa-realted Apes (tuktuks) that I have converted.

A couple of people have reached out asking for custom swingarms for their electric conversions. I thought I would make a post summarizing what I do!

I have swingarms designed and ready for any vintage smallframe or largeframe Vespa. The Ideal motor to use is the QS motor 4000w 10" hub motor.

I have also made custom swingarms for various other scooters undergoing EV conversions such as a Yamaha Zuma and Honda Elite CH80.

If you want a swingarm, let me know! I am in California but can ship anywhere in the US. Cheers

Another one finished and out the door! Here's a funny picture of the back half of a large frame Vespa in the trunk of a Prius. I use this half of a Vespa to test fit every swing arm I make. I have a similar set up for small frame and wide frame Vespas.

Hi, I'm curious how would I reach out to you if I wanted to inquire about buying a custom swing arm?

I would love to learn more. I was looking into the premade kits, they are just so expensive. I have a 1959 VBA. I see that you suggest a QS 4000 w. What would you suggest for the 8 inch hub? Do you have any other suggestions about what is needed for a full conversion, brakes, battery, controller, etc...? I am also located in California.

Hi this is very exciting - am looking to install a QS 4kw 10" hub motor on my Vespa 150 Super. Do you still fabricate swing arms for these large frame vespas? And if so how much would it cost (sent to address in California)?
