voltage monitor for lights battery

I have been looking for an alarm or similar device to keep me informed of the SOC of my 3s pack running the lights on my bike, previously i have used the Magicshine lights that have this function built into the on off button.
I have seen all the lipo alarm type things but wanted a neater solution and found this;

You could also use the Methtek monitor board, and add a circuit triggered by the "throttle retard" output pin. Your circuit can do anything you want it to, powered either by your lighting pack or by the main traction pack. I'm still working on time to finish figuring mine out so I can build it.
