Hello guys, i have a problem with my votol em 200/2 controller. I have a talaria sting r/mx 4 and i installed this controller with the wiring i did everything all right. When connecting to the controller it doesn’t show any gas voltages i only can type it by hand but it will disappear after turning the software again, when trying to to self learning it doesn’t want to do it nothing happens.
When giving trothle the engine makes some sounds but doesn’t spin, my battery is 60v we tried with 72,60,48 by typing with hands it doesn’t do any better. Does someone have had the same problem and maybe knows what the problem could be? With other controller it works great engine and everything is good except the controller wont give all the info and somehow it doesnt want to communicate. I did a 10 min video showing what it does, i would appreciate your help guys 🙂

Here is more information about the situation, and more photos with videos of what are we trying and what is happening

There's not enough information about what's connected where...
This is the only thing to do for now.

For self-learning, check the "LA save" box and restart the ECU.
There's no need to short-circuit any wires.
LA ->write-> off\on ecu-> page3 connect ?

Are the magnets aligned correctly? Do you know how many there are in the motor? If there are 10, that means there are 5 pole pairs, etc.
After testing, the phase should be displayed on page 3; this can't be set manually!

In the video, I noticed that the red LED (indicator) was flashing, this is actually an error code... what it is complaining about is unknown.

Something is wrong with the connection, there is no firmware or program version.

Mhm that strange i will try your method today later or probably tommorow whats strange that is when i connect to it it doesnt set setting automatic like battery volts and other stuff u need to type it in manually

There's no automatic voltage setting; it's manual. 60 or 72 doesn't matter. It's important, but it doesn't affect the motor's operation; the ECU simply doesn't activate either.
But manual motor tuning is ONLY, including fields, magnets, and so on, and then testing.

So its not working because im not doing right settings in the self learning tab yes?

Also when i connect to the controller it should automatically show gas voltages? Because it doesnt show any

Yes, that's right, without the LA, turn it on with the wires, and with the LA, close it without wires.

When connecting the ECU to the computer, that's correct; the page should show battery voltage!
We need to achieve that, and then everything else will follow! :)

Okey then im going to do some test and see if everything checks out with the voltage first

Hello again i tried it didn't work it doesnt want to self learn

Get a normal connection to Votol, then we'll think about it further...
NO CAN !
