Was bound to happen?

Sounds like it would make a great Hitchcock movie, if only he were still around. But yeah, you knew it had to be going on.

Boo. If the motorized bicycle in this case was like the ones I see around here, it was woefully underbraked and piloted by a rotten drunk.

An old guy died by a non-motorized lycra, it happens. The bicyclist, however, ran a red light up by the old childrens hospital.

Do you still get DVD's in the mail from Netflix? I just noticed the store I used to rent at is STILL THERE.

Now if they could just find the ship that went down with so many of the books. . . .

If you ever wondered what came of the great Columbus fortune after his death, much of it was spent on this.

So my mother thought that a big lottery prize was the solution to her problems, what with all the relatives with their hands out at the time a few years ago. She had me help her buy a ticket. I explained to her about the need to keep it secret if she wins but the likelyhood they'll find out on their own and the troubles that would ensue. And some stories of what has made the news.

So she says, "I ought to just tear this up before it has a chance to ruin my life."

The point of keeping these historic buildings is to go on using them, but that's how this happens.

SO they're saying the donations have topped $700 million to restore Notre Dame, probably only a start but that part I'm not so worried about. Some pictures give the idea that it might not be so bad as it could have been.

But what happens if it starts the terrorists thinking these are great targets? So much of the historic Europe was destroyed in WWII by the Allied bombing that had so little effect on the real war.

So what really is bound to happen?
