Was bound to happen?

Remember to keep your reflectors clean

This made me laugh a bit, because at first glance, I quickly read it to mean that the reason for him being on the run for 30 years was originally because of a minor bicycle infraction. Seemed extreme until I read the article again and realized what he was actually wanted for...

It’s the road construction signs that make me have to go into traffic. The signs are as wide as the bike lane. I get that they need to be visible to cars and other motorists. But do they have to take up the entire width of the bike lane? Yes! They need to be visible. I mean, you can’t put them in the sidewalk. Then when someone comes by in their wheelchair, they can go nowhere else. It’s the signs and other cyclists stopped in the bike lane to make a phone call.

Damn though, don’t remove the bike lanes. That’s just backwards movement.

I say put them in the sidewalk. My reasoning? Show me the son of a bitch who wouldn't swerve to avoid a wheelchair.

Reflectors are only required at night. The officer was just looking for an excuse to interrogate an apparent vagrant. Such people aren't likely to file complaints. Nobody in these news stories is pointing out the fact that the stop was bogus.

How were the batteries packed within the truck, that they suffered enough damage from an overturn to puncture and/or rupture?
