Weak kickstand

I have a RMartin 10 (tonaro) bike, 900 miles and still running well, but the kickstand is too weak. It's already bent and doubt will last another 900 miles. Two different bike shops took a look but couldn't find a good option; the bikes unusal shape doesn't render itself to standard kickstands. Any suggestions? Thanks.

They make kickstands that mount under the bottom bracket with two legs

is there any room under there?

Yea, I've got the same problem with mine cos my bike doesn't have hole to put those kickstand...

You would have to change out the quick release axle for a nutted axle.

The bottom part looks like the chessy universal one's like I have. The problem is, the stand piece is held to the bracket with a big rivit.
If you can find another one, get two;

There are plenty of solid supporting kickstands but the RMartin 10 (tonaro) bike design doesn't support a bottom bracket attached kickstand. Any other suggestions? I might have to buy a second kickstand and double them up.

Looks like a difficult bike to put a stand on. Several of us have modified one of the heavier Pletschers or Greenfields to werq although it takes a bit of time with a file and drill to get things just right. I attached mine to a torque arm and near the dropout in a threaded hole that was there then ground it out so it would clear the axle nut. Holds the bike just fine for the last couple of years. You may have to get a bit creative. If you have to much trouble you can just make a brake block that fits in one of your levers and keeps the brake applied. That way you can just lean it anywhere and it will stay put.
