I have an old EV Global ebike. The plastic of the fenders has broken around the bracket on top where the fender attaches by the brake. I'l like to glue a piece of metal or plastic bigger than the hole to the inside of the fender and then attach the bracket to this. I know that gluing plastic can be tricky because which glue you use depends on what type of plastic you have and what material you want to glue it to.
I'd like to avoid a lot of trial and error if I can. Does anyone know (or have an educated guess) what type of plastic these fenders were made of? Or if you had a this problem and have done the same thing what adhesive you used to bond the fender and what material the new piece was?
TIA
