Where is good place to buy Bafang BBS-02?

I have been eyeing off one of EM3ev.com kits for awhile and interested in the BBS02...though am somewhat confused. Could someone confirm that the motor assist is either 1. throttle, AND 2. automatic depending on computer assist level setting. In other words, there is no actual torque or cadence sensor near the cranks, but rather determined by the computer settings. I.E. If the unit is on, it will always be 'assisting' at the currently selected level.

Nope. There is a cadence sensor built in and it affect how the pedal assist works. Have a look at the thread here on programming for more info.
