Which battery wire did I break?

Hi I have a triangle battery from EM3V, it's great and I use it every day. Apparently I broke one of the wires - anyone know what this one does?
So far I can charge and discharge fine, but I don't want to be doing something unsafe.

I would guess that is the pre-charge wire.
