Hi,
i'm slowly edging my way to a better understanding of building bikes, now this might not be the best place to ask this but; i'm a little lost in bottom brackets.
i'm building a frame to support a battery of 15 cm wide!, it's quite a compact build and i need the peddles to be further apart than normal.

what is the simplest way of achieving this?
i have an image to illustrate what i want to achieve, the sizes may vary a little.

Cheers, tim

Truvativ Giga Pipe Team DH 100mm/148mm one should give you the q-factor you want...a very long BB will get ysou into trouble with correct chain line if you dont want to use an uber wide and expensive fatbike rear hub

You don't need pedals ("peddles"); you need footpegs.

If you put the pedals that wide apart, the chain drive will be a disaster and you'll pedal like a comic duck-man.

You're not building a bicycle, but a motorcycle. Be honest with yourself, with your fellow road users, and with your locally applicable laws. Build the thing you want, register it, insure it, hold a license to operate it.

Or skip all that bull puckey and build a real electric bicycle that conforms to both the rules of the road and the rules of ergonomics.
