which brushless hub to purchase

Ive searched long and hard on this and cannot come up with a brushless front hub that is fast and has longevity. If I can mount a disk brake to hub great. If I need to lace the hub great. PLEASE help me. Thank a bunch.

What kinda power are you looking for? and what controller/battery do you have? 9Cs and crystalytes are both good motors for high power, and are pretty durable motors. But a crystalyte 5xxx would be more than happy drawing 75+ amps, so if you don't have a battery/controller that can handle that, you may want to look at a 9C, they still pack quite a punch and are much cheaper. and if you dont buy one laced to a rim, message johnrobholmes he does all sorts of high quality wheel work, and can recommend a good combination of spokes/wheel to suite your need.

The best all around front motor that can take a disk would be the new generation 9C. Crystalyte won't take a bolt on disk on the front, but is as good or better in most other respects.
But "Best" is subjective. It might not be the best motor for your needs.

Crystalyte no problem to research. Located in Texas. Pricey but built well. 9C...Motor cannot find info. Does it go by another name? thanks for all the help
