I accidently bought the wrong hub motor online. The seller doesn’t answer anymore and I don’t know what I have received.
It is a direct drive motor with a cassette freehub and the weight is 6,5kg (14,3 pounds)
According to the seller stator is 35mm wide and the motor is good for 2800W

Well, looking at that number, it looks as though it's intended to run on 48v, and the numbers after that could indicate it's 1500 watts.

It LOOKS similar to motors sold by Leafbike. Now who is building those is anyone's guess.

On the plus side, is the fact the wires come out the side of the axle (vs. the end) which would support the idea that it could easily be a 1500 watt motor, as the older motors (a 1000w for example) had wires that came out the end.

I thought I ordered a Nine Continent RH205 motor but apparently I ordered this motor instead. According to the seller this motor is better than the RH205 motor (mainly due to a 5mm wider stator).

So that is a great "mistake"...
Now get a good 48V 50A (or higher/programmable) controller and get a 48/52V battery that has the continuous current rating to power this motor. In what type/brand frame and wheel diameter is it going?

An update - Apparently my motor comes from a Chinese company called Angyang motor. I looked at their website and although I cannot find the exact same motor my motor is kind of similar to their motor AYW-4.

I have emailed Angyang asking about pinout etc.
