Wiring two kt controllers to a single kt LCD

Hi, im trying to add a second motor for one of my projects. Im using a 500w motor with a 500w 48v controller. I have a sencond 500w 48v controller compatible for kt lcd's. Does anyone know how to wire two kt controllers to one single kt controller?
Any suggestions could be helpful

I haven't done it, but I've read where you connect the first controller normally to the LCD. On the second one, you leave the received data lead unconnected for the display. That way, both controllers will power up, and only one can transmit data back.

I've had the case with a single KT controller where it powered up fine, but the received data lead lost contact during my riding. Lost the speedometer and wattage, but could still change PAS levels. Based on that, the controller must send back speed and maybe the amps.
