I wanted a geared hub motor that I could push to 2KW.
I needed low-end torque.
Wheel diameter is 29" (including 4" fat tire).
I took a gamble on G062 1KW motor....to this day there is not much information.
I went with a 48V version and run it with a 12S (44v) battery due to large diameter wheel.
No regrets at all. It has been a fantastic motor.
To be fair I have beat the crap out of it.
I sustain 1.5KW when cruising around town....draws about 30-35 amps at around 30MPH on flat pavement.
Climbing hills off road and digging through loose sand pushes motor to maximum 45amps (2100W).
The G062 has been great.
